Everything You Knew About Your Health Expired at Menopause.

What used to work doesn’t anymore, no matter how hard you try, and the truth is, some days you barely recognize yourself.

This chapter is asking who you are beneath everything you’ve been holding together.

I'm Ready to Feel Like ME Again

So You Do What You Have Always Done

You have always been the reliable one, keeping every schedule running, knowing where everything is, and showing up for everyone, all day, every day.

And now your focus drifts, the words you need vanish mid sentence, and your body is answering in an entirely new language.

The eating, the walks, the early nights that used to keep your weight steady and your health on track barely make a dent now, no matter how closely you follow them.

Then you watch your parents age, and you quietly promise yourself your later years will look different.

So you tell yourself you just need to try harder, eat less sugar, move more, get back on track. You go back to researching the latest plan for women in menopause, the one everyone else seems to swear by, and you start over once more.

The real question is what keeps happening between knowing what to do and actually doing it.

The Connection Hiding in Plain Sight

The very behaviours that brought you to this exhaustion are the ones you are reaching for to get healthy.

The part of you that takes care of everyone, the part that has to get it right, the part that measures her worth by what she gets done, kept you loved, valued and safe for decades, so quietly that you came to believe they were simply who you are.

They come with you everywhere, even into your healing.

  • The good girl follows the plan without question, because somewhere she learned that her own knowing mattered less than being good.
  • The perfectionist learned that her worth depends on getting it right, so a single slip feels like proof she has failed again.
  • The achiever turns every new diet into a test she has to pass, and keeps moving the finish line before she can celebrate it, so she always feels one step behind.
  • The rescuer tends to everyone’s health, including her aging parents’, long before her own, because somewhere she learned her needs could always wait.
  • The invisible woman learned that being seen wasn’t safe, and her body has been keeping her hidden ever since.

The plan changes, and the woman approaching it stays the same.

That is why every fresh start ends up looking like the last one.

Do Any of These Sound Familiar?

  • The weight has settled around your middle, and what used to shift it barely makes a dent now.
  • Your bloodwork is showing rising blood sugar or insulin resistance.
  • You negotiate with food all day, being good until the evening, then wondering what happened.
  • You push yourself through workouts you dread, or you are too exhausted to start moving at all.
  • You say yes when you are already exhausted.
  • You feel guilty taking time for yourself, so your health keeps sliding to the bottom of the list.
  • You feel you should know better, and you judge yourself every time you slip.
  • You are carrying decades of Diet Baggage, so many health rules that you are unsure which ones are actually yours.
  • You discount the progress you have made and move straight on to what still needs fixing.
  • Rest feels like something you have to earn first.
  • You have done the inner work, and the same patterns keep finding you.

Every one of these was created for a reason, and each has shaped who you are until this moment. The woman who says yes to everyone became the one people trust with anything. The one who judges every slip became sharp, careful and discerning. The one who keeps pushing became unstoppable when it counted.

This new stage invites you to assess which of these qualities you are ready to set down, and which ones support a life that includes you.

That's Me! Let's Talk

The Chapter You Were Taught to Fear

You have been handed a story about this stage of life, one where a woman slowly becomes less visible, less vital and less desired, and spends the rest of her years managing her decline.

Now look at what you're carrying into this chapter. Decades of raising families, building careers, holding people through their hardest moments, solving problems nobody else could, and becoming the woman everyone turns to. You can read a room before anyone speaks. You know what matters and what can wait. You sense when something is off long before it shows.

That is wisdom, and you earned every bit of it.

And yet lately, even with all that wisdom, you find yourself in the middle of your exhaustion, noticing quieter questions beginning to surface.

If I am no longer the one who holds everything together, then who am I?
Do I even want this anymore?
With everything changing, is this really all there is now?

Those questions can feel like you are losing yourself.

What you were never told is that these questions mark the beginning of your initiation.

Long before menopause became a list of symptoms to manage, many cultures honoured the women who crossed this threshold as elders, wise women and keepers of knowledge, the ones the whole community turned to for guidance. Somewhere along the way, that reverence was traded for a story of decline, and most of us absorbed it without ever questioning where it came from.

Imagine stepping into this chapter lighter, carrying everything you have lived and learned, with nothing left to prove. Imagine your care flowing back toward you as freely as it has always flowed out. Imagine trusting the knowing that rises in your body, saying yes because you mean it, resting without apology, and feeling alive in your own skin again.

For so many years, your life has been spent doing for everyone, including those you love. This is the chapter where living becomes yours.

Menopause is an initiation.

The fire you feel is your feminine power demanding to be lived.

I'm Ready for My Next Chapter

Hi,

I'm Alison

I am a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, a Spiritual Mentor and Trainer, and a Board Designated Trainer in NLP, NLP Coaching, Time Line Therapy®, and Hypnotherapy. Very few people who teach nutrition also train others to work with the unconscious mind, and that combination is exactly where your answers have been waiting.

I work with what is on your plate and with what is running beneath it: the beliefs you never chose, the patterns your mind learned long ago to keep you safe, and the words you use about yourself and your body. Your words have been shaping your health all along, and once you hear what they have been telling you, you get to choose new ones.

I know this intimately from personal experience. I became a nutritionist at forty, after years of dieting and starting over, carrying body shame that was never mine to begin with. I know the particular eye roll that happens when someone who has never lived in a larger body tells you how simple getting healthy should be.

Then came my own health scare, a diabetes diagnosis, high cholesterol and fatty liver. I sat there in the doctor's office with a huge shame spiral I was not prepared for. I had built a career on knowing this, and some deep part of me believed that should have protected me. My first instinct was to hide. What finally freed me was hearing doctors and nutritionists share the very same story, and realizing I was allowed to be human too.

When I gave myself space to sit with all of it and reflect deeply, I dove into why I wasn't doing what I knew I needed to do. I had done years of inner healing and felt aligned spiritually, mentally and emotionally, so I couldn't understand why my body wasn't following. What I finally saw was that I was exhausted in every area of my life, and my body was still running in survival mode. That is when the words came:

I am so exhausted. I do not have another restart in me.

In that moment, I decided getting healthy would no longer be one more thing on an already never ending to do list. My health is meant to give me more life to live.

I had spent decades changing the plan without ever changing how I approached my health. The missing piece was bringing my body into that alignment, giving it the safety to come out of survival mode so it could finally receive the support I had been trying to give it.

Within four months, my A1C went from 7.4 to 5.9, below the diabetic range.

I'm still lowering my numbers as part of my ongoing journey. Watching them reminds me how far I've come, especially on the days my mind tries to convince me I need something new.

My own journey is why I do this work the way I do. One of my gifts is seeing what women hide, even from themselves. Together, we will find the connections running through your health and your life that have been there all along, so obvious once you see them that you will wonder how you missed them for so long.

Once you can See It, you cannot Unsee It.

Your Menopause Health Blueprint™

Menopause Health Blueprint is a six week guided experience that gives you a clear snapshot of where you stand right now, in your body, your mind, your heart and your spirit, and what has been shaping your health all along.

Every map worth following starts with one little dot that says "you are here," and this one marks you as a whole, not just your symptoms.

Here is what the six weeks hold:

  • A workbook and tools that guide you through each week.
  • Weekly live small group calls with Alison, about 60 minutes, with time to stay longer when it is needed.
  • Uncover your Diet Baggage, the rules, shame and expectations decades of conflicting diet trends have handed you.
  • Meet your Health Shadows through shadow work, uncovering the desires you have judged or decided you were not allowed to want, and the hidden parts of you that have been quietly running your health.
  • Learn the Body Recalibration™ method, where you catch the moment your nervous system kicks into overdrive and choose a response that supports your journey now.
  • A private one to one session with Alison in week five.

By week five, you are ready to go deeper. In your private session, Alison brings light to the parts of you that have stayed hidden for years, with a warmth that makes being seen feel like a deep exhale.

Who Is This For

You are in the middle of menopause, or the years surrounding it, and the strategies that carried you for decades have stopped working.

You are running on empty, and your brain fog has become so familiar you've started giving it a name.

You have spent years taking care of everyone and everything, and your own health quietly landed on the list of things to manage correctly, right alongside the school calendar and the grocery run.

You have a bookshelf, a podcast queue and a saved folder full of health advice, and a growing suspicion that none of it was written for the woman you are now.

Your bloodwork, or your favourite jeans, have started telling you something.

And part of you senses this chapter is about something deeper than your body.

This Is ME! I'm Ready.
